See those little pictures next to the Recent Comments? Those are called Avatars. Whatever picture you load up can display next to your comment. It doesn’t have to be a picture of you, it can be a picture of a pumpkinhead if you want.
How do you get one on your comments? If you log in to Word Press and make yourself a User Profile, I think that’s what makes it happen. Then when you visit the site while you’re logged in, you get an Avatar.

I for one do not believe the government should be in the business of selling Liquor (ABC Stores). I do not think the government should be in the business of selling food, gasoline, shoes nor anything else.
For most of my life I have been involved in the land development/construction industry.
During this time I developed and built industrial sites and buildings. If Page County wants industries to locate here they should zone land and provide utilities to it. That’s it. Why is your (and my) tax money being spent on speculating (for that is what it is)on a cow field near Stanley, in hopes of someday attracting business to settle there? Leave the land developement to private industry, or sell bonds to local people who want to invest in such speculation. Stop using my money to gamble on real estate!
If anyone who reads this blog wants to start a petition, advertise or in any other way form a group to fight this insane spending of our tax money I will be the first to donate to fund such a campaign.
How much more are we going to take?

Red Stapler, I’m with you. I’m interested in forming that group, too. In fact, I’m in the process of collecting the documentation to put an end to this in a serious way. You didn’t leave your name, but I have your email address, and I’ll put you on a mailing list of people who want to get moving on this. In the meantime, feel free to contact me at Prof.Richmond@gmail.com
